From Small Beginnings
To National Presence
Sumit Industries was founded in 1995 in Hyderabad, Telangana, with a clear mission: manufacture industrial ropes and plastic products from 100% premium-grade virgin PP and HDPE — no recycled filler, no compromise — and build the kind of quality reputation that Indian businesses could trust for decades.
Starting from a modest workshop, the company grew steadily by doing one thing exceptionally well: delivering products that held strong in the field, batch after batch. That commitment earned Sumit Industries its first major institutional clients, its ISO certification, and eventually its first export order.
Today, our manufacturing facility at Tata Nagar, Mailardevpally, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad operates advanced extrusion, weaving, lamination, and rope twisting lines. Every batch is tested in our in-house QC laboratory for tensile strength, UV resistance, and dimensional accuracy before it leaves the factory — because when your product is securing a cargo load, protecting a crop harvest, or keeping fishermen safe at sea, failure is simply not an option.
